RUNV.CLUB - ACCOUNTS AND ACCESS

SIGNING UP

Account requests follow runv.club's official flow (for example, an SSH connection to entre@runv.club with your public key, as described on the "Join" page); the team reviews the queue and the Unix account is created by the administration — there's no instant automatic web sign-up.

Review is manual. Since we're a small team, approving a request can take up to 21 calendar days — thank you for your patience while we review each case.

Sign-up must be done with true and reasonably consistent information.
Creating an account with a false identity to deceive others, dodge a penalty, commit fraud, or fake legitimacy is grounds for moderation action.

LOGIN

Access to the system is individual and, on the pubnix, based on SSH with a public key (Unix account with no SSH login password). Each user is responsible for protecting their email, their SSH private key, and any other authentication method tied to the account.

ACCESS RECOVERY

There's no "forgot my password" on SSH: if you lose the private key, you can no longer authenticate with the registered pair.
In that case (or if you need to replace the public key on the server), contact:
admin@runv.club

ACCOUNT SHARING

Sharing an account is prohibited when it:
- compromises security;
- makes auditing actions harder;
- allows fraud, abuse, or evasion of a penalty;
- results in misuse of permissions.

The administration may limit, suspend, or close accounts used irregularly by multiple people.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACCOUNT

Anything done through an account can be attributed to its holder until there's concrete evidence of compromise, intrusion, or misuse by a third party.

GOOD SECURITY PRACTICES

SUSPENDED OR BLOCKED ACCESS

An account may be temporarily limited or suspended when there is:
- indication of intrusion;
- suspicious automated activity;
- attempted fraud;
- repeated violations;
- risk to the system's integrity.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

Your account concentrates access, history, and support. It's worth treating it with care: keep the private key safe, keep your contact info up to date when relevant, and report anything that looks wrong right away.

ACCESS SUPPORT

Any login problem, recovery issue, security concern, or suspected compromise should be reported to:
admin@runv.club

Community and real-time help: after logging in via SSH, run chat to open WeeChat straight into the #runv channel. The nick list on the side appears once the terminal is wide enough. Use IRC for quick questions, conversation, and initial guidance; for sensitive account matters, prefer the email above.
