Rules

runv.club is one small computer shared by everyone on it. These rules are what keeps that working.

You need to be 16 or older to have an account.

Be decent to people. No harassment, hate, threats, or posting anyone's private information. That covers your pages, your files and #runv.

Nothing illegal, and nothing you don't have the right to publish. No malware, phishing or spam.

Keep the machine for people. No crypto mining, proxies, VPNs, game servers, scanning other hosts, or bots that run forever. A long compile now and then is fine. If something needs to run for days, ask first.

The IRC bouncer can take you to other networks, and there you're our guest. Follow each network's rules. If one of them complains about you, your bouncer gets switched off.

Every account gets 1 GB of RAM, 200 processes, one CPU, 2 GB of disk and 200,000 files. Hitting one of those is the limit doing its job.

Leave other members' files alone, even where the permissions would let you in. If you find a way to break something, tell us instead of using it.

Backups run every 15 days. They are there to rebuild the server, not to undo your mistakes, so keep your own copy of anything you care about.

Your pages can be in any language. #runv is mostly in English.

Break these and your account gets suspended, or deleted if it's serious. Not sure about something? Ask first: admin@runv.club.
